Founder's Bio

Eric D. Williams Sr.

Is the Founder/CEO of Project Elijah Empowering Autism and Promoting Education & Enhancing Athletics. I am the proud father of three sons Eric Jr., Evan and Elijah. At the age of three my youngest son Elijah was diagnosed with autism. Struggling to make sure Elijah had appropriate therapies and schooling, I began searching for after school programs to accommodate his developmental growth. As a working parent, I found it almost impossible to find quality and affordable programs. After conducting research for over six years on after school programs locally and nationally for disabled and non disabled children, my results were very limited.

I find it unacceptable that with autism rising at such an alarming rate, that proper facilities and programs for children on the autism spectrum do not exist. We need to have PEEA facilities for our children while the experts search for a cure. As the saying goes, "if you don't know someone with autism, you soon will".

Because of this, PEEA was born!
