Project Elijah Empowering Autism partners with Penn Speaks for Autism and KenCrest to offer a structured after school program for children on the autism spectrum.
PEEA will open early, 2012 on the beautiful campus of KenCrest located 59th & Elmwood Avenue in Philadelphia, PA.
Staffing provided by Penn Speaks for Autism and KenCrest. Penn Speaks for Autism is a student volunteer organization from the University of Pennsylvania.
PEEA services to include: social skill building, sensory, recreation and gross motor skills. Curriculum's are based on each students IEP(Individual Educational Program). Services offered on a 1 to 1 ratio.
To ensure every child's needs are being met, for the first year we will open with a small number of students.
Rates will apply.
* Volunteers are welcome. Criminal background and child abuse clearance required. Training provided.
